Mt. Vernon vs Memorial @ The Farm - Par 35
Lady Cats golf fall short to Memorial 179-189
The Mount Vernon girl's golf team went to Evansville last Thursday afternoon to "The Farm" golf course to take on the Evansville Memorial Lady Tigers in a dual competition. This contest was a nine-hole, par 35 match. It was a close match with Memorial sneaking past Mount Vernon 179-189. Maggie Rhymer of Memorial shot an even par with 35 shots. Libby Reese of Mount Vernon finished second overall with 40 shots and five over par.
